The May 2nd, 2009 Texas OES Rescue Picnic
was a great success.
 

 We had overcast skies, some rain, a delicious luncheon prepared by Anne and Dan which included great BBQ chicken quarters, tasty side dishes, desserts and drinks for all.

Many Thanks to Anne and Dan for graciously opening their home to the Rescue group and all of the Adopters and Foster friends. 

It was estimated that 36 Dogs were present with 38 two legged uprights.

The day was filled getting kisses from many OES, meeting new OES lovers and renewing acquaintances, opportunity to purchase Stoneware mugs, an Annual Membership Meeting and a short TxOESR Board meeting for re-election of officers was conducted and exchanging rescue stories.

We certainly enjoyed seeing all of our Adopters and Foster friends and their
sheepers again, and deeply regret that some of you could not attend.  We'll have one next year around the same time, so mark your calendar early.
