ADOPTED DOGS

Check out all the dogs that have been rescued and found loving homes over the years at Texas Old English Sheepdog Rescue.

Cash

Meet Cash!

Cash was tossed aside by a doodle breeder because she couldn’t produce enough money for her because her pregnancies required cesareans. She surrendered without notifying us that she was pregnant for the 4th time.

We had the puppies delivered and Cash has been a wonderful mama. She gets along with everyone and has a wonderful disposition. Cash is a loving and funny girl with lots of love to give! She is a loyal and gentle girl who is good with other dogs. She loves to play and run around, but she also loves to snuggle and receive kisses. Cash is smart and knows basic commands, and she is very treat-motivated! She loves to learn new things and is very attentive when it comes to treats.

Cash is a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any family. She is about 4 years old and has a beautiful light brown coat that is short and shiny. If you think Cash is the one for you, please submit your application today!

ADOPTED!

My name is Sharpe.

My name is Sharpe and I was rescued from the streets of Mexico and now I live the good life!

I was given the name Sharpe, but I don’t really know my name so feel free to rename me!

I spent enough time in the hot Mexico sun so I love laying around inside in the nice air conditioning.

My foster parents laugh at the random funny noises I make. Sometimes when they come home I don’t even hear them because I’m deep in sleep.

I love it when my foster mom brushes my hair and she even uses a massager on me!

I don’t ever get on furniture and may need a little help down steps. I want to go with them to the beach, but I need a little help getting in the car. I enjoy going to the beach with my foster family. They thought it would be funny to rename me “Shark” to make people at the beach freak out when they call me

My legs weren’t very strong when I left Mexico, but they’re getting stronger.

I’m unsure of how old I am but the vet thinks I’m around 6-8.

I had some benign tumors removed from my stomach and complete mastectomy. I (also) had benign tumors removed from my mouth and feel so much better more! I’m healthy and happier now!

I love attention and go from person to person demanding it. If you stop petting me I’ll let you know I want more.

Sometimes I get a little jealous and don’t like competing for attention. My foster dog brother is ok as long as he doesn’t steal too many hugs and kisses from my foster mom.

I like a little sensitive stomach dog food mixed in with my normal dog food, it makes potty breaks much cleaner.

I am very smart and learned the doggy door very quickly and use it whenever I need to go out.

Everyone I meet says I’m beautiful and sweet. I’m a little vocal; but, that’s only when you stop petting me. I just want to relax and enjoy retirement with you.
